In Rome on m birthday

All of my flights went very well.  There was someone waiting for me at the airport to take me to my new home.  I would never have found it.  The accommadations are wonderful.  As I lie in my bed I am looking at the dome of St. Peters out my window.  The only thing I have got to figure out quickly is how to reverse the automatic Italian language internet.  I can't find spell-check because F7 is something different over here and I can't read Italian to find where it says to switch to English.  I had forgotten that weather in Rome is a lot like Santa Cruz in California.  It is warm, but humid and they get little rain so except those trees and plants that you would see in California it is very dry.  Even the weeds are dried out.
