For the Holy Name children

This blog is especially for the children at Holy Name.  I have heard that they have been wondering what Flat Stanley has been doing.  Here are some photos of him.

Here is Flat Stanley getting ready to start the day.  He is brushing his teeth.

Here he is getting ready for a morning shower.  Does anyone besides me think that this is not a good idea for him?  He wants to know why it wouldn't be a good idea?

Now he is saying his morning prayers.  Since he is dressed up like a priest he must say the prayers of a priest.  The prayerbook that he is using is what use everyday.

Now he thinks that he should go out and play tennis.  I know that he needs his exercise otherwise he gets very noisy during class, or sometimes sleepy.  But I am not sure that tennis will ever be a good game for him to play.  Yesterday I played one of the other priests and got beat badly.  He won three sets, 6-1,6-0,6-1.  That means he won 18 games and I won 2.  I think Flat Stanley might end up even flatter if he plays.

We all have to clean our own rooms, just like at home so he is helping me with the sweeping.  His job is to catch the dust bunnies.

He even has to help with laundry.  Here he is sorting socks and putting them away in the drawer.

He gets tired fairly quickly so he had to take a break and have a drink of Coca-Cola Light.  He is afraid of gaining weight.

He loves to play on the computer but sometimes he is just in the way.  Mostly I think he wants to Skpye people.

We both love the view from our balcony.  It is so beautiful to see St. Peter's Basilica every time we are out there.  It is especially beautiful at night.  We use it as our night-light.

Getting him to bed on time is hard.  By the way, he doesn't seem to be of any help when I am trying to make the bed.
